Chi Alpha International

or XAi for short, focuses on connecting international students with American students so they can develop life long friendships. A recent study showed that 80% of international students will never make an American friend. Our heart is to turn this around and show the Columbia international community not only that we care, but Jesus does too! So whether you're new to the U.S. and looking for a place to belong, or have lived here all your life and want to make some great friends, XAi is the place for you!

Moving to a foreign country can be scary! XAi helps international students feel welcome and loved by hosting fun events like a Christmas dinner and by leading English clubs. You can help show internationals the love of Christ by being a conversation partner to help them improve their English, becoming a friend along the way!
